JAMES GOODHUE
FOUNDER
|
James is a seasoned Development Director specialising in residential projects and large-scale urban regeneration. His work spans transformative initiatives such as Eastern Porirua Regeneration, Tāmaki Regeneration, Takaka Cohousing, and multiple Māori-led/Papakainga projects.
As an Indigenous and systems thinker, James views regeneration as more than development—it's about cultivating the conditions that empower people and communities to thrive within their neighbourhoods, cities, and bioregions. He is deeply committed to urban and bioregional regeneration, ensuring that his work contributes to both human and ecological well-being.
"For me, regeneration is about fostering conditions that enable life to renew itself, evolve, and flourish in an ever-changing world. Regenerative leadership is not just about sustaining—it’s about giving back more than we take. This philosophy is at the core of my approach to development, urban regeneration, and bioregioning."
